What is JM (Just Money, Just Muslims)

We are a community of Muslim professional with over 2,000+ members, primarily located in New Jersey, spanning across different masjids and communities from north to south.

Founded in March 2017, JM began when a group of people came together at a local masjid to create an investment group with the goal of generating passive income. It was established with the intention of providing a platform for mutual benefit—to benefit others with what has benefited you—by empowering members through the sharing of valuable information, resources and experiences. The group is managed by JMers and a dedicated team of volunteers.

Our community is highly active on WhatsApp, with over 100 unique groups dedicated to various topics. JM is a 100% free group, and to join, you must be referred by an existing JMer. We maintain a strong level of trust by requiring all members to use their real first and last names on their whatsapp profiles and complete an onboarding process, which includes sharing their LinkedIn profiles. This makes JM a uniquely close-knit and trusted network compared to other community groups, fostering a strong sense of family—known as the JM family—where everyone knows or is connected to someone. At times, JM feels like a fraternity, and it’s very likely that someone you know in NJ is part of JM.
